Internal Medicine Residency Program

Newly hired Residents should enroll via an Enrollment form within 30 days of his/her initial employment date. Coverage for medical, dental and vision is effective the 1st day of employment.  If you do not enroll during this period, your next opportunity to enroll in benefit coverage through Dimensions Healthcare System will be during a qualifying life status change or the “Open Enrollment” period.

Holidays

Residents receive their regular pay on the six Dimensions observed holidays.  Residents may be required to work on three of the holidays and, if so, will receive time off with pay on mutually agreed upon days.

Residents work under employment contracts which contain provisions that supersede or are supplemental to hospital provided employee benefits or policy.  Should there be a discrepancy between this pamphlet and the provisions of the resident’s employment contract, the provisions of the employment contract will govern.
